In mid 1932 Nash made the Ambassador Eight a range of its own, with coupes and victorias beside the sedans, on very long wheelbases and powered by a twin ignition straight eight with overhead valves. The cars stayed lavishly equipped through the worst years of the Depression, and Nash was one of only two American car companies to turn a profit in 1932. Streamlined Speedstream styling arrived for 1934. Its model years run from 1932 to 1934.
