The fifth Eterna appeared in May 1992 as a four door sedan only, moved with the Galant into the three number plate class, and stressed the V6 engine and the wide body. Its Visage series grew from 1993, and it ended in August 1996 with the model change of the Galant. The Aspire was the real successor, from 1998, since the eighth generation Galant was not sold at Car Plaza at first. Its model years run from 1992 to 1996.
