The Villager was Mercury's minivan, sold from 1993 to 2002 and co-developed by Ford and Nissan, which sold the same van as the Nissan Quest. It was built by Ford at its Ohio Assembly plant in Avon Lake, Ohio, beside the Econoline and Club Wagon, in two generations with a full redesign for 1999. The joint venture ended after a shortened 2002 model year, and Mercury later revived the Monterey for a second minivan. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (1993 to 1998); the second generation (1999 to 2002).
