Mercury Villager (second generation)

Automobiles

For the 1999 model year Mercury debuted the second generation Villager, again jointly developed by Ford and Nissan, who marketed it as the Nissan Quest, sharing no sheet metal with the previous generation. The van standardized a driver's side sliding door and kept the repositionable third row seat. In 2000 Ford and Nissan chose to end their joint venture, and the final Mercury Villager was assembled on 27 June 2002. Its model years run from 1999 to 2002.
