Classic Mini (Mark V)

Automobiles

The Mark V had 8.4 inch brake discs and plastic wheel arches, known as Mini Special arches, but the same body shell as the Mark IV. The Mini's 25th anniversary fell in 1984, marked by a limited edition Mini 25, and this started a turnaround in its fortunes, with a steady stream of limited editions in bright colours and a rise in production from 34,974 Minis in 1984 to 39,800 in 1986. In 1990 the Cooper was relaunched. Its model years run from 1984 to 1990.
