Jeep CJ-2A (only generation)

Automobiles

The CJ-2A grew out of the lessons of the CJ-2 prototypes. Its grille had seven slots and its headlights were larger and slightly bulging, in contrast to the recessed lamps and nine slot grille of the military MB, and the T-90 three speed gearbox replaced the MB's T-84. Early cars used leftover military parts, such as engine blocks and the full floating rear axle, until a stronger Dana 41 axle took over. Its model years run from 1945 to 1949.
