From 1945 to mid 1946 the CJ-2As were only available in two color combinations, Pasture Green with Autumn Yellow wheels and Harvest Tan with Sunset Red wheels, and additional combinations were added in mid 1946 such as black with red wheels and Michigan Yellow with several wheel colors. The colors in some ways symbolized the hope and promise of postwar America and resembled those of the most popular farm equipment makers of the day.
