The fourth generation was unveiled in September 2015 for 2017, the first all new Super Duty since 1998, with a frame of high strength steel and an aluminium alloy body like the F-150 and up to 350 pounds less weight. It had a 6.2 litre V8, 6.8 litre V10 and 6.7 litre diesel, and a 2020 refresh added the 7.3 litre Godzilla V8 and the Tremor package. Its model years run from 2017 to 2022. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option.
