The fifth generation was revealed in September 2022 with production from early 2023, sharing much of its cab and interior with the F-150, with a new standard 6.8 litre gasoline V8 and a high output 6.7 litre Power Stroke diesel of up to 500 horsepower. It gained flex fuel capability for 2024 and a wider range of trims for 2025. Its model years run from 2023 to 2026. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option.
