For 2025 the 6.8 litre V8 became available on F 250 and F 350 pickups with the Lariat trim, which was now only a Crew Cab with a synthetic seat material in place of leather. Updates also brought the Ford Pro Vehicle Integration System 2.0 for fleet upfitting and expanded trailer technology. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option.
