The third generation, the CD390, went on sale in mid 2015 after its sibling the S-Max, with one diesel in four states of tune and two EcoBoost petrols. It was refreshed for 2020 with a Mondeo style grille and a Vignale version, and in late 2021 it was sold only as a 2.5 litre hybrid. Ford ended it in 2023. Its model years run from 2015 to 2023. The Galaxy was a seven seat people carrier that Ford built for the European market, sharing its platform with the Mondeo in its later forms.
