Ford Galaxy (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation, shown at the Geneva show in 2006, was a larger Ford designed car with no Volkswagen content, assembled with the Mondeo at Genk in Belgium and sold beside the S-Max. It had only Ford engines, Duratorq diesels and EcoBoost petrols, and trims called Edge, Zetec, Ghia and later Titanium. Its model years run from 2006 to 2014. The Galaxy was a seven seat people carrier that Ford built for the European market, sharing its platform with the Mondeo in its later forms.
