Eagle Summit (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation was completely new, roomier and lighter, built on the chassis of the fourth generation Mitsubishi Mirage with a multilink rear suspension and a rounder body. The hatchback gave way to a two door coupe, and a four door sedan joined it. A 1.5 liter engine continued and a 1.8 liter engine was new. Airbags arrived in 1994 and 1995, and the Summit outlasted both Colts. Its model years run from 1993 to 1996.
