Ford EXP

Automobiles

The Ford EXP, also called the Escort EXP, was a sport compact coupe sold from 1982 to 1988 over two generations, the first two seat Ford since the original Thunderbird and sold exclusively in North America. It was derived from the American Ford Escort and shared its powertrain and chassis, with its own front and rear styling and a lower coupe roofline. Mercury sold a badge engineered variant, the LN7, for 1982 and 1983. Ford discontinued it in 1988. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (1982 to 1985); the second generation (1985 to 1988).
