For the 1990 model year every Legend came with body-colored side mirrors. The coupe had a revised body-colored grille, new red and clear tail lights and improved front seats, while the LS coupe received a trunk-mounted lip spoiler and every LS had burlwood interior trim. The sedan's fuel filler door moved rearward by about 15 centimetres. This was the last year of the first generation, replaced by a second-generation car introduced in October 1990.
