Vauxhall Cavalier (Mark III, 1989 to 1995)

Automobiles

The final generation Cavalier went on sale on 14 October 1988, being Vauxhall's version of the Opel Vectra A, again available as a saloon and hatchback. There was no estate in the Opel line up. During 1989 the Cavalier floorpan spawned the new Calibra coupe, the first Vauxhall coupe since the original Cavalier Coupe was discontinued in 1981. Its model years run from 1989 to 1995. The Mark III Cavalier gave rise to the Calibra coupe and was exported as the Opel Vectra.
