Toyota Starlet (first generation, P40 and P50)

Automobiles

The first generation Starlet was launched in April 1973 as the higher grade and bigger model of the Publica P30, offered with 1,000 and 1,200 cc engines. The body was originally available only as a two door coupe, often referred to as a Baby Celica, and the four door sedan arrived in October 1973. The car was changed in February 1976 mainly to meet Japan's new emissions requirements, revised again in January 1977, and discontinued in January 1978.
