The first generation Noah and Voxy were released on 16 November 2001. In July 2002 Toyota introduced the Voxy Z Kirameki with chrome plating on the front grille, the Welcab variant was added in December 2003, and the facelifted model was released in August 2004. The first generation was discontinued in June 2007, when the second generation replaced it.
