The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a retro styled mid size SUV that Toyota produced between 2006 and 2022. It began as a concept at the Detroit show in January 2003 and was approved for production after a positive response, then debuted in final form at the Chicago show in February 2005. Its look recalled the old FJ40 Land Cruiser, and it was built by Toyota's subsidiary Hino Motors in Hamura, Japan. Sales in the United States ended after the 2014 model year, while it continued in other markets until 2022. Generations with their own pages on this site: the single generation (2006 to 2022).
