Toyota Camry (second generation, V20)

Automobiles

The V20 went on sale in Japan in August 1986 and in North America later that year as a 1987 model. It kept the sedan shape with softer, more American styling, added a station wagon for export markets for the first time and moved to fuel injected engines throughout. A 2.5 liter V6 and an All-Trac four wheel drive version arrived in 1988, American production began in Kentucky that year, and Toyota Australia started building the car locally in 1987, making it the first Camry made outside Japan. Japan again got a twin sold as the Vista, now with a hardtop body.
