The third generation Aygo has been produced since March 2022 as the Toyota Aygo X, with a more crossover oriented styling. It was previewed by the Aygo X prologue concept car in March 2021 and is built on a shortened version of the GA-B platform. It no longer has a Peugeot or Citroen counterpart, because the PSA Group, now Stellantis, pulled out of the joint project that had shared the earlier cars.
