The Twenty was a single generation, with a new inline six cylinder overhead valve engine of 3,127 cc, bore 76 mm and stroke 114 mm. Unlike the Silver Ghost engine, the cylinders were cast in one block and the cylinder head was detachable, and both coil and magneto ignition were fitted. The early cars had three speed manual gearboxes with the change lever in the centre of the car. Its model years run from 1922 to 1929.
