The Twenty ended in 1929, after being produced from 1922 alongside the Silver Ghost and the Phantom, and was replaced by the 20/25. Power was transmitted to the rear axle through a standard propeller shaft with a universal joint at each end, not the torque tube of the 40/50 chassis. Only the chassis and mechanical parts were made by Rolls-Royce, the bodies by coachbuilders. It was built by Rolls-Royce Limited for seven years.
