The New Phantom was a single generation, introduced in 1925 as Rolls-Royce's second 40/50 hp model. To differentiate between the two 40/50 hp models, Rolls-Royce named the new model New Phantom and renamed the old model Silver Ghost. It had a new pushrod overhead valve straight six, built as two groups of three cylinders with a single detachable head, on the same frame as the Silver Ghost with four wheel brakes. Its model years run from 1925 to 1931.
