Morris Twelve (Series III)

Automobiles

The series III was announced in August 1937 with a new booted shape, better seating and a new engine, which had been introduced in October 1936 to power the Wolseley 12/48 and the MG VA but did not enter production until mid 1937. The Twelve stayed in production until the war intervened and was replaced after the war by the 1476 cubic centimeter 13.5 horsepower Morris Oxford MO in 1948. Its model years run from 1937 to 1948.
