1937 Morris Twelve

Automobiles

A new booted shape with better seating and a new engine was announced in August 1937 and designated series III. The engine had been introduced in October 1936 to power the Wolseley 12/48 and the MG VA, though it did not enter production until mid 1937. Each new Morris model showed further integration of the structure of chassis and body, and the series III was a step toward the unitary construction of the postwar cars.
