The first Isis was announced in July 1929 as a revised Morris Six JA with the same 2468 cubic centimeter engine and three speed gearbox but an all new chassis, and a steel body with an American look from dies shared with some Dodge models. It was the first Morris with hydraulic brakes and chromium plating replaced nickel on the brightwork. It could exceed 65 miles an hour. Its model years run from 1929 to 1935.
