The Isis name was used twice by Morris. The first Isis, announced in July 1929, was a revised Morris Six with an all new chassis and an American looking steel body, the first Morris with hydraulic brakes. The name came back in March 1955 on a new six cylinder car from the British Motor Corporation, replacing the Morris Six MS, which sold poorly and was dropped in 1958. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the Isis and Twenty-Five (1929 to 1935); the Series I (1955 to 1956); the Series II (1956 to 1958).
