The Evolution II was upgraded in December 1993 and was produced until February 1995. It mainly consisted of handling improvements, including minor wheelbase adjustments, a lighter front swaybar, bodywork tweaks including a larger spoiler, and tires 10 millimeters wider. Power output was increased to 260 PS from the same engine, with torque unchanged for both GSR and RS models. Most cars came with 15 inch OZ five spoke wheels. Its model year runs in 1994.
