The Eclipse Cross is a compact crossover SUV that slots between the RVR, ASX and Outlander Sport and the Outlander in Mitsubishi's global lineup. The first generation has been produced since October 2017, assembled in Japan, China and Brazil, and since 2025 the second generation has been sold only in Europe as a battery electric car based on the Renault Scenic E-Tech. The name comes from the unrelated Eclipse sports car, but unlike that car it is not built in the United States.
