The Mark VII was the final version of the Classic Mini, with twin point injection, a front mounted radiator, a full width dashboard in place of the original shelf, an internal bonnet release and a driver's airbag. The basic Mini was the 1.3i and the other model in the range was the Mini Cooper. The end of production in October 2000 ended 41 years of the original Mini and the 1275 cc engine that had powered it for over 35 years. Its model years run from 1996 to 2000.
