Merkur Scorpio

Automobiles

The Merkur Scorpio was an executive car made by Ford of Europe, which Merkur sold in North America as its top model for just two model years, 1988 and 1989. It was based on the European Ford Scorpio Mark I, made at the Cologne Body and Assembly plant in West Germany, and sold as a five door hatchback by about 800 Lincoln-Mercury dealers. 22,010 were sold before imports ended in October 1989. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1988 to 1989).
