Mazda RX-7 (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation RX-7, the FC, was still known as the Savanna RX-7 in Japan and was a complete restyling aimed at the American market, where most first generation cars had been sold, with a look often compared to the Porsche 944. It was heavier and more of a sport tourer, with independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering and standard disc brakes, and it used the 13B rotary engine, naturally aspirated or turbocharged. A convertible joined it in 1987. Its model years run from 1986 to 1991.
