Jeep CJ-3B (only generation)

Automobiles

The CJ-3B introduced a higher grille and hood to clear the new Willys Hurricane engine, otherwise keeping the flat fendered CJ look. A four speed manual transmission became optional in 1963 at an extra cost of 194 dollars. The turning radius was 17.5 feet. It became the M606 military Jeep by adding heavy duty options, blackout lighting and olive paint, and it was widely licensed abroad. Its model years run from 1953 to 1968.
