Honda CBR1000RR (SC59)

Motorcycles and Powered Two- and Three-Wheelers

Honda introduced an all new ninth-generation RR, the SC59 CBR1000RR, for the 2008 model year at the Paris International Motorcycle Show on 28 September 2007, powered by an all new 999 cc inline four with titanium valves and a redline of 13,000 rpm. Honda made a very focused effort to reduce and centralize weight, with a lighter, narrower die-cast frame, a slipper clutch, a revised steering damper and a side-slung exhaust in place of the center-up underseat design. Each model year has its own page.
