Honda Accord (fourth generation)

Automobiles

Honda showed the fourth-generation Accord in 1989 as a 1990 model, built on the CB chassis. It was much larger than its predecessor, kept the low slung wraparound styling of the third generation, and for the first time no longer offered a three door hatchback internationally. North American cars gained an all aluminum 2.2 liter 16 valve fuel injected engine, and a wagon built at Marysville joined the sedan and coupe for the 1991 model year. It spawned the sister models Honda Ascot and, on a separate platform, the Honda Inspire. Each model year of this generation has its own page.
