The Metro was a subcompact that General Motors and Suzuki developed together from the Suzuki Cultus and sold in North America under the Geo nameplate from 1989 through 1997, with the first cars built by Suzuki in Hamamatsu, Japan, and every later one at the CAMI plant in Ingersoll, Ontario. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation, 1989 to 1994 (1989 to 1994); the second generation, 1995 to 1997 as a Geo (1995 to 1997).
