Ford Model T (fifth generation, 1926 to 1927 style)

Automobiles

The last style changed the look of the car more than any before it. The hood was enlarged again, the cowl panel no longer had a compound curve and blended with the hood line, and the distance from the firewall to the windshield grew a good deal. Collectors call it the high hood. It previewed the second Ford Model A that replaced the T, though the two cars are quite different, and steel welded spoke wheels became available in 1926 and 1927. Each model year has its own page.
