1927 Ford Model T

Automobiles

Father and son, Henry and Edsel Ford, took the fifteen millionth Model T out of the factory on 26 May 1927, which marked the end of United States production before the changeover to the new Model A. Plants elsewhere carried on briefly, and the last Model T was built at Cork, Ireland, in December 1927. More than 15 million had been made, which made it the most sold car in history until the Volkswagen Beetle passed it in 1972.
