The third generation Ka was developed by Ford Brazil, with the Ford Ka Concept unveiled in Brazil in November 2013 and the production version appearing in July 2014 in hatchback and sedan body styles. It was based on Ford's global B platform, sharing its underpinnings with the Fiesta, and embodies the Kinetic 2.0 design theme. It was built in Camacari, Brazil and Sanand, India, and was sold in Europe as the Ka+. Its model years run from 2014 to 2021.
