The updated Ka+ in its most basic Latin American market configuration and no ESC received 3 stars for adult occupants and 4 stars for toddlers from Latin NCAP 2.0 in 2018. The Ka was based on Ford's global B platform, sharing its underpinnings with the Fiesta, and equipped with MyKey, MyDock and SYNC systems, power fold mirrors, keyless entry, electronic stability control and up to six airbags. The third generation Ka was based on the global Ford B platform shared with the Fiesta.
