In India the sedan made its debut as the new Ford Figo Aspire in August 2015, with the hatchback arriving, as the new Figo, a month later. It was then launched in Mexico in September 2015, in South Africa one month later, and in March 2016 in Argentina. The new Ka presented at the 2015 Buenos Aires Motor Show. In November 2015 a Ka+ in its most basic Latin American configuration received four stars from Latin NCAP. It was built at Camacari in Brazil and Sanand in India, and marketed in Europe as the Ka+.
