Ford Fairlane (Americas) (sixth generation)

Automobiles

A redesign was introduced for the 1968 model year and continued the similarity to the Galaxie series, with the station wagons carrying over the 1966 and 1967 bodies from the cowl back as a cost saving. Early base V8 Fairlanes had the two barrel 289, later the 302. For 1969 the Fairlane 500, Ranchero and Torino GT were offered with the 351W V8, and the Cobra was introduced as a rival to Plymouth's Road Runner. Its model years run from 1968 to 1969.
