Ford Fairlane (Americas) (first generation)

Automobiles

The first generation Fairlane replaced the Crestline in 1955 as Ford's premier full size offering, and introduced the Crown Victoria and 500 nameplates. The four door Town Sedan was the most popular sedan Ford sold in 1955, at 254,437 units. Few changes came for 1956, when a four door Victoria hardtop and two more powerful V8 options were added, and the one year only Parklane two door wagon was sold. Its model years run from 1955 to 1956.
