The fourth generation introduced a lower and wider cab, bed sides, hood lines and window sills at a uniform height, a return to two headlights, and the first crew cab. For 1961 Ford introduced its first integrated design with the cab and Styleside bed stamped together, which was dropped in 1963. The 1965 model year brought a new frame and the Twin I-Beam independent front suspension, the 300 cubic inch six, and the first use of the Ranger name. Each model year has its own page.
