The Equator is a three row mid size crossover that the JMC Ford joint venture builds for China, slotted above the Everest in the JMC Ford SUV line up and sold only as a six seater. It has a pair of 12.3 inch screens, wooden accents and a rotary gear selector, with a 2.0 litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine of 221 horsepower. A shorter two row version called the Equator Sport followed in November 2021.
