Ford Bantam (third generation)

Automobiles

The third generation was launched in 2002 on the fifth generation Fiesta, keeping the load box and rear suspension of the first Bantam and built at Silverton. It had Rocam petrol engines of 1.3 and 1.6 litres and a diesel until 2006, was facelifted in 2006 and 2009, and ended in 2011 as Ford South Africa focused on the Ranger. Its model years run from 2002 to 2011. The Bantam was a coupe utility pickup that Ford produced in South Africa for the South African market.
