2010 Ford Bantam

Automobiles

Rocam engined versions of the Bantam received catalytic converters in the 2009 and 2010 update, and the pickup was more modern than before, to counter new half ton pickups with turbodiesel engines such as the Opel Corsa Utility. It was built at Silverton for South Africa. The Bantam was a coupe utility pickup that Ford produced in South Africa for the South African market. It was the small half ton pickup known there as a bakkie, sold beside the Mazda Rustler.
