Dodge Dakota (third generation)

Automobiles

The redesigned 2005 Dakota still shared its platform with the new Dodge Durango SUV, which was now even more similar to the Ram platform. This model was 3.7 inches longer and 2.7 inches wider, and has a new front and rear suspension and rack and pinion steering. It reverted to five lug wheels from the prior generation's six lug wheels to reduce costs and assembly times, and was not offered in a regular cab model. Its model years run from 2005 to 2011.
