The Citation was a compact that Chevrolet sold from the 1980 to the 1985 model years, the first front drive Chevrolet, replacing the Nova on the X platform shared with the Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile Omega and Pontiac Phoenix, one of the most successful launches in General Motors history in 1980 and then damaged by safety recalls, renamed the Citation II for 1984, and built at North Tarrytown, Oklahoma City and Ramos Arizpe. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation, 1980 to 1985 (1980 to 1985).
